This is one of a series of compilations I’ve been making since 2004 (around the time of my birthday) featuring some of my favorite recent indie music. Songs are from 2018, with one from 2017 and one from 2019. The cover is a photograph taken in Mexico by Tina Modotti, probably in the 1930s.
This is a mix of mostly avant-garde ambient and jazz with an engaging mellow and atmospheric feel. I also have posted mixes of 2018 indie rock (Waiting for Oz) and varied indie sounds (Another Air).
